OK, So I thought I’d try my hand at doing a Printin’ and Playin’ video!
In this video I talk about Fish Cook, I game that I actually already covered on the audio podcast a while back. I guess I liked it enough to give it another go in video form.
Sadly my voice still hasn’t recovered from the nasty cold I had a few weeks ago – I’m no longer feeling sick… but I still sound like a toad when I talk – not good for podcasting.
I’m seriously considering doing a written review just to get a review out there.
Just wanted to let you know I’m not dead – but I’m not quite ready to record yet.
It’s mostly that I’m still just too exhausted most of the time… there have been at least a few times where I’ve sat down at the computer, thought “I should really record a new episode,” and then decided I was just too tired to deal with it.
And to make matters worse, this week I’m sick.
There will be more episodes, and hopefully it won’t be much longer – just thought I’d mention it in case people might think I’ve “podfaded” already.
Was there a print-and-play game released in 2014 that you felt was awesome and award-worthy?
Nominations for the 2014 PnP Awards are now being taken over in the BoardGameGeek.com Print-and-Play guild!
If you’d like to participate, please go to this thread
(A BGG account is required, but chances are pretty good if you’re reading this, you already have one 😉 )
On October 25th, I’ll be participating in Extra Life – a gaming marathon lasting up to 24 hours to raise donations and awareness for Childrens’ Miracle Network hospitals.
I’ve set a personal goal of raising $100, and I could still use some help in getting there.
If you’d like to make a monetary gift (as little or as much as you would like, every little bit helps!) or if you’d just like to learn more about Extra Life or the Chidrens’ Miracle Network hospitals and what they’re all about, please click here: http://bit.ly/1sO8ewj
Also, if you’d be interested in maybe playing something with me using the magic of the internets, please let me know! We could set up something PnP using Vassal, or if you’d like to play something more traditional I have accounts on places like Board Game Arena and Yucata.
